Yugen
Yūgen is a series of short audiovisual pieces focused on the contemplation of natural environments, light, and movement. Through static shots and ambient sound, the project captures everyday moments in which nature, work, or human presence emerge in a subtle and quiet way.
Each piece is built as a direct observation of the world, without narrative intervention, seeking to attend to the beauty of the minimal and the unrepeatable quality of each moment.
This project takes its name from the Japanese concept of Yūgen (幽玄), which refers to a profound and mysterious sense of beauty, associated with that which cannot be fully expressed or completely understood.
