Vestigios

Vestigios ("Vestiges") is a documentary series dedicated to the traditions, customs, and cultural expressions that have endured through time. Through testimonies and imagery, the project seeks to document and preserve manifestations of intangible cultural heritage, exploring their meaning within the communities and villages that keep them alive. Vestigios began its journey in the village of Piornal, documenting the well-known masquerade of Jarramplas. However, Vestigios does not aim to remain limited to the traditions of the Iberian Peninsula; instead, it seeks to capture and give visibility to traditions from around the world, exploring what, at once, unites and differentiates us from the very beginning.
